Screen Goated Toolbox Privacy Policy

Screen Goated Toolbox ("SGT") is a productivity application for Android and Windows. This policy explains what information SGT processes, why it is processed, when it is sent to another service, and the controls available to you.

Information SGT processes

Depending on the features you choose to use, SGT may process:

• Text, audio, images, screenshots, screen content, selected text, clipboard content, files, and prompts that you intentionally provide or capture.
• Visible interface and browser content needed to perform a user-requested accessibility or device-control action.
• App settings, provider choices, locally saved history, downloaded components, and generated results.
• Credentials or API keys that you enter for third-party services.
• Technical status and diagnostic information needed to operate or troubleshoot a feature.

How information is used

SGT uses this information only to provide features you request, such as transcription, translation, text or image generation, speech synthesis, accessibility actions, screen-aware assistance, file operations, and downloading optional app components or updates.

Accessibility and screen access

On Android, optional features can use the Accessibility Service and a user-approved screen-capture session. When enabled, these capabilities may read visible interface content and perform actions necessary to complete your request. SGT does not use Accessibility data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to make decisions unrelated to the task you requested. You can disable Accessibility or stop screen capture at any time in Android settings or through SGT.

Third-party services

Many SGT features can communicate directly with the AI, translation, speech, search, or content service that you select. Information required for the request may be sent to that provider over the internet. Examples include Google services, Groq, Cerebras, OpenRouter, and other providers shown in the app. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. SGT also connects to public software and model hosts such as GitHub or model repositories when you request downloads or update checks.

Storage, sharing, and retention

• SGT does not sell personal information and does not include an advertising network.
• App settings, credentials, history, downloaded components, and generated files are stored locally unless a feature clearly sends data to a selected service.
• Information is shared only as needed to provide a user-requested feature, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
• Locally stored information remains until you clear it, remove the relevant downloaded item, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
• Third-party providers control their own retention practices. Review the policy of a provider before using it with sensitive information.

Your choices and deletion

You control whether to grant microphone, notification, overlay, Accessibility, and screen-capture access. You can revoke Android permissions in system settings. You can remove locally saved settings, history, credentials, downloads, and generated files through the app or device storage controls. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes its locally stored private data from the device.

Security

SGT uses platform security controls and encrypted network connections where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting information you do not want the selected third-party provider to process.

Children

SGT is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when SGT's features or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
